INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OFFICE
Established in 2001 after the merger of the former Nanjing University
of Chemical Technology and Naning Institute of Architecture and
Civil Engineering, the International Cooperation Office is fully
responsible, on behalf of the University, for all the international
cooperation and exchanges with our partners abroad. By now, it has
helped the University establish cooperative relations with 46 institutions
of higher learning and research institutes abroad, including University
of Waterloo, Canada, Massey University, New Zealand, University
of Pittsburgh, USA, etc. It has also accomplished numerous faculty
and students exchange programs, and joint teaching and research
programs with the sister-universities.
Responsibilities of the Office
Establishment and maintenance of cooperative relations with partners
abroad
Recruiting long-term foreign experts and teachers, and coordination
of their work at different colleges
Recruiting short-term foreign lecturers and researchers
Receiving incoming foreign visitors
Making arrangements for faculty-members and students to go abroad
to work at sister-universities, and to attend international conferences
Discussion with potential partners about possible joint education
and research programs
